The office workplace: Why hygiene still matters

For many of us, working in the office rather than at home is again routine. But even though we are delighted to meet up with colleagues again, workplace hygiene is still important. After all, Corona has not gone away and winter is not far off.

For many of us the daily routine is back – schools and nurseries are again open and more and more of us are returning to the office.  And this raises the risk not only of a COVID19 infection.

A little more normality – coughs, colds and hoarseness included.

Winter is certainly just around the corner bringing with it, as always, other infection illnesses – the annoying cold and flu spread by droplets and actual contact.  Only by keeping consistently to the hands hygiene, face mask, space and room airing rules were they hardly in evidence last year. However, the easing of restrictions made possible by the vaccinations means that people are again mixing in private and public spaces and that public transport is being used more often. But any less attention paid here will see infections again spreading in the offices.

Infection protection is caring for everyone

That is why, for employers, effective infection protection and professional hand hygiene remain vital issues well into the future. After all, health at the workplace concerns not just the individual but all of us. We have the responsibility both to protect others as well as ourselves. We, at Satino by WEPA, have a vital contribution to make here – in the form of helpful tips and information for professional, on-the-spot hygiene solutions.

Do get in touch with us. Together we will find the right solutions for up-to-the-minute hygiene for your company – all the way from sanitiser stands and hygiene paper through to contactless dispenser systems.
